DELETE - Delete a RAM Disk


The DELETE sub command removes an existing RAM Disk.


DELETE Dialogue


Init> DISK DELETE

Response - Type DISK DELETE at the main prompt.


Disk to delete <DISKY0> :


Explanation - DELETE asks for the name of the RAM disk to remove.  It shows the default in brackets.


Response - Press the Enter key to select the default disk or type the name of the disk to remove. When a RAM disk is removed, it may result in the names of other RAM disks changing.

Explanation - Init returns the main prompt.



Error Messages


Invalid device

The device name you entered is not a valid device name.


Not a RAM disk

The device you specified is not a RAM disk.
